Caverion Denmark has signed an agreement to acquire the service operations in Denmark from GK Danmark A/S through an asset deal. This also includes a share purchase agreement of Vagns VVS A/S, which is a subsidiary of GK Danmark A/S. The acquired businesses have combined annual revenues of approximately SEK 353 million and 184 employees, significantly strengthening Caverion's delivery capacity across Denmark.
The acquired operations have been part of GK Danmark and primarily focus on service and maintenance of ventilation, cooling, heating, and sanitation systems, including sprinkler. The 184 technical specialists serve customers across Denmark with strategic hubs located in Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus, Kolding, Holeby, and Nakskov. The customer base consists mainly of municipalities, property owners, the manufacturing industry, and retail chains.
With this acquisition, Caverion Denmark strengthens its position as one of the leading technical installation and service partners within advanced energy services and Technical Facility Management (TFM).
"The acquired business brings strong expertise that complements our existing organisation both geographically and technically. There is a strong cultural alignment and strong leadership compatibility, which is key for a continued successful development. We are very pleased to welcome new employees and customers to Caverion. Together, we will increase our capacity to take on more and increasingly complex assignments, making us an even stronger partner to our customers", says Carsten Sørensen, CEO, Caverion Denmark.
The transaction is part of GK Group's decision to exit the Danish market, and the deal is expected to close on April 30, 2026.
"GK Denmark has been a valuable member of the GK family for 20 years, and we are now handing over a strong and professional service business to new owners, who we know will further develop the business for the benefit of our customers and employees", says Kim Robert Lisø, Group CEO, GK.
Lars Sjørring, Director Existing Buildings, GK Denmark, will join Caverion Denmark and become part of the Management Team.
"The first meetings with Caverion have shown me that we share the same values, and I look forward to further developing the service and maintenance business together with our skilled technicians as part of Caverion", says Lars Sjørring.
The transaction is subject to competition authority approval before completion.
